Nominations will be accepted beginning: 9/1/16
Two awards will be given. One student will receive a scholarship and one adult will receive be donated to the charity of their choice.
The following criteria will be used in reviewing and judging the nominations:
The nominee gives freely and unselfishly by volunteering her time to community activities.
The nominee has a positive impact on the direction and success of community projects, programs or individuals.
The nominee inspires and acts as a role model.
The nominee improves the lives of others.
The nominee reflects the mission of the YWCA: to eliminate racism and to empower women.
Must be female and living in the Quad Cities, 16 years or older.
Any person or Organization can make a nomination. Nominations must be received in the YWCA office by close of business on December 9, 2016.

The winner will be announced at the eleventh Annual Hearts of Gold Luncheon, which will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2016, 12:00 p.m., at the Holiday Inn, Rock Island.
