The YWCA of the Quad Cities has been serving the community since 1917. Through our programs, we serve over 10,000 youth and women annually.

More important than the numbers, is our mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We provide safe places for women and girls, build strong women leaders, and advocate for women's rights.

Women Come to us in times of crisis, as survivors of rape or domestic violence. They come for job training and career counseling. They come for childcare. They come for health and fitness. They come for a variety of reasons. But they come. And they leave with a renewed spirit, new skills and stronger lives.

Our Programs have direct impact and create meaningful change with measurable results. We not only intend to raise awareness of the issues, we intend to affect real change. Our goal is not to pave the way for the future. It is to create the future. A better future.

Eliminating racism, empowering women - it's what we are about and what we intend to do.
